Starting in the 2nd quarter of 2010, EdgeNet will be offering high speed Internet connections to the Foothills Industrial Area in Calgary, Alberta. The 100 FT tower located within feet of dedicated backbone fiber will provide wireless connectivity for users requiring solid business class Internet connections.

The network is configured to provide customers direct, dedicated, secure, point–to-point and with line of sight connections using the latest radios for high performance. The signal comes from the customers location to our tower located in the center of the Foothills Industrial Area. From the tower the signal is routed to our fiber connection which provides direct link to the backbone through high end telco class routers and switches.

• There are no re-routings of the signal. Direct from your location through the tower to the backbone.
• Signal enters the backbone in Calgary and is not routed to Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver as in the case of most of the other service providers.

Un-metered and Un-limited Data Transfer Allowance

• EdgeNet customers will know that their bandwidth cost is fixed on month to month. There are no meters on the system and each customer can send as much data as their contracted connection capacity. A mere 10.0 Mbps connection can transmit over 3.0 TerraBytes of data with no overage charges.
• Power: Our location has complete backup generators and UPS systems to ensure 99.99% up time.
• Service: Our technical team is located in Calgary in the Foothills Industrial Area. In the event of an issue with the service, our technicians can be on your site in minutes. All calls are answered, in person, by a technician. We do not use Call Centers located in far away lands to service our customers.
