Content Delivery Network

The Network

Our CDN is built leveraging equipment from various vendors according to their core competencies - often referred to as the "Best of Breed" approach. Our experienced team with proven capabilities took upon the task to build the CDN rather than buy a complete system from a single vendor. We test equipment in demo networks and acceptance of a product is provided only after confirming its value. We also ensure that no edge cases occur that will affect network reliability, scalability and security. Our approach allows a network that thinks out of the box and minimizes turnaround time and maintenance while increasing the ability guarantee meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements (SLA's).

Switching and Routing

All applications depend on interaction, which can only result from the delivery of data, to and from the end user. The core of this ability to deliver data is provided by the routing and switching infrastructure in the network.

Our CDN has standardized router and switches with architecture delivering line-rate performance, cost-effective scalability, and robust L2 through L7 switching routing.

Fault Tolerance and High Availability

Our architecture supports redundancy, availability, and serviceability features to maximize network uptime. All key systems are redundant, including the RPMs, SFMs, and power. All memory systems are ECC/parity protected. System-wide environmental monitoring and persistent configuration synchronization enable FTOS to detect, report, and correct faults with a minimum of system interruption. In addition, serviceability features include hot-swap of all key components, cable management, and open access to all cabling and cards minimize mean time to repair.

Network Security:

Our network systems are all protected through encrypted OS. These systems monitor for port scans, DOS and other malicious activities. All customers are provisioned with their own VLAN to ensure their network security.

Video Delivery

  1. All video and audio data is handled through Tier –I servers, routers and switches
  2. Support and delivers HIGH DEFINITION content
  3. Delivers video based upon Microsoft Windows codec, Flash or Canvid.
  4. Software for higher end performance
