The alignment is achieved by varying the voltage output from a controller to a robotic head that controls the movement of the antenna.

The AGC unit is ideal for 'fly-away' and 'drive-away' terminal that require quick connectivity and constant adjustment to the alignment of the terminal due to movement of the mounted vehicles or ground movement of temporary installations. The unit is available for retrofitting satellite controllers with built-in AGC input or can be purchased complete with the controller and the robotic head to automate the alignment functionality of all types of satellite terminals.
